St. Bonaventure Bonnies Betting Preview
The Bonnies hit a nice run over their first half-dozen games, taking out CSU Northridge, Canisius, Florida Gulf Coast, Le Moyne, Mansfield, and Bryant along the way. St. Bonaventure took their first loss of the season to Utah State on Thanksgiving.
In their Thursday matchup with Utah State, the Bonnies held a five-point edge by the break. St. Bonaventure was outscored 47-37 the rest of the way however, resulting in a 72-67 defeat. Noel Brown and Dasonte Bowen each had a team-high 15 points in the loss.

Over on the Northern Iowa side, they took out Dubuque and Milwaukee in their first two games before losses to UC Irvine and Wichita State. The Panthers recovered with a win over Western Illinois before a blowout loss to North Texas on Thursday.
In the Mean Green matchup, the Panthers were drilled 34-21 in the first half. Northern Iowa didn’t get any closer in a 34-27 second for a 68-48 defeat. Ben Schwieger was the only double-digit scorer on the team with 13 points and three rebounds.

St. Bonaventure vs Northern Iowa Prediction
I’ll probably go with St. Bonaventure here. The Bonnies took their first loss of the year on Thursday in their toughest matchup so far but didn’t play particularly well. St. Bonaventure had 12 turnovers and got out-rebounded 44-40 (17-12 offensive) in their defeat, but should have much better control this time if they can eliminate the mistakes.
As for Northern Iowa, they posted their lowest points total of the year (48) on Thursday in a pretty listless outing. The Panthers have been below 61 points in two of the last four games, so I like the Bonnies to control the pace in Friday’s matchup.
