I’ll stay with Louisiana Tech in this one. The Bulldogs didn’t exactly look their best in the first half of Tuesday’s win, but to their credit, LA Tech finished strong. The 40.4 percent shooting wasn’t great, but the 38-34 rebounding edge and the 14-of-18 (77.8 percent) from the line carried the day. That said, it was the Bulldogs’ lowest points total (65) so far this year.

As for Eastern Kentucky, they played a wild second half against a struggling Southern Illinois team on Tuesday but everything worked out with the W in the end. The Colonels have scored very well in their four wins this year (77 or more in each) but not so well in their two losses (a combined 123 points). With the way the Bulldogs have been scoring (in general) so far, I like a high total here with an eventual LA Tech cover—so long as they can prevent another slow start.
