I’ll probably just stick with Stanford. The Cardinal have looked pretty good so far and they’re coming off another double-digit win over UC Davis. Stanford didn’t shoot especially well from the floor in that one (37.3 percent) but had a 45-30 rebounding edge (16-3 offensive) and hit 21 of their 25 free throws (84 percent). That makes 79 or more points in all four games for the Cardinal.
As for Norfolk State, they’ve got just the one blemish on the card so far and have hit 73 or more points in four of five games this year. The Spartans were out-rebounded by Hampton 43-34 in their last game however, and they’ll have a tough go in that regard against Stanford. I like the Cardinal to control this one pretty much the whole way.
