Lafayette Leopards Betting Preview

The Leopards had their ups and downs last year, ultimately ending the season on a tough defeat. Lafayette went 9-3 overall with a 5-1 run in the Patriot League, earning co-champion honors with Holy Cross. The Leopards ended up losing their Division I First Round matchup versus Delaware 36-34, though.

I might take a stab on Buffalo here. Probably just avoiding this one, though. The Bulls certainly have their work cut out for them after a tough season in 2023. Buffalo averaged a tepid 318.8 yards per game last year and gave up 367.1 yards per game on the other side. The good news is that the offensive line looks strong in Buffalo this year, as does the secondary.

Lafayette’s defense should still be pretty darn good, relatively speaking. The Bulls are going to have to keep the chains moving and dictate the tempo on offense. That may be a tall task for the first game of the season but if all goes well I think Buffalo covers here.
