LSU sits with a 6-2 record overall but they are coming off a loss in the last game. LSU scored 23 points while their defense gave up 38 points against Texas A&M and that was the difference. Garrett Nussmeier completed 25 of his 50 passes for 405 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. 

The turnovers were an issue and those are going to need to be fixed quickly. LSU on the season is averaging 32.3 points while their defense is giving up 22.8 points per game. The offense is ranked 34th in the league while the defense is ranked 54th. Nussmeier is under center again for LSU and he’s going to limit the turnovers. If the turnovers are an issue again, it’s going to be a very long game. 

Alabama vs LSU Prediction

At home this season  LSU is 4-0 while Alabama is 1-2 straight up on the road. Nussmeier is going to limit the turnovers and that is going to be the difference here. The LSU Tigers defense has been a bit inconsistent, but they are going to find a way to slow down Milroe and that will be the difference here as LSU is going to keep it close. I think LSU is going to win this game outright, we aren’t going to need the points. Back LSU on the money line.
