UMass vs Miami-OH Prediction
I’ll stay with Miami-OH I suppose. Probably not touching this one, though. The RedHawks were mismatched against a tough Notre Dame team over the weekend, gaining just 229 total yards (119 passing) and 17 first downs. Miami-OH had 10 penalties, two turnovers, and converted just 2-of-12 on third downs as well. They’ll obviously match up much better versus UMass, however.
Speaking of UMass, they shot themselves in the foot with 15 penalties for 135 yards but still managed to power out the win thanks to a pretty good overall effort otherwise. I like the Minutemen to be competitive here as well but I don’t think they’ll cover if the RedHawks can bounce back.
