Stanford Cardinal Betting Preview
Stanford got off to a rocky start in their opener versus TCU this year. The Cardinal held a 17-10 lead at halftime but eventually fell 34-27 in a tough result. QB Ashton Daniels posted 163 yards, one TD, and one pick. Daniels also led the rush with 89 yards on 17 carries.

Stanford vs Syracuse Prediction
I’ll probably lean toward Syracuse here. We should have a fun matchup regardless, though. The Orange are coming off a nice offensive effort overall versus Georgia Tech. In that one, the Orange posted 515 total yards (381 passing), 27 first downs, and a solid 10-of-17 effort on third-down tries. The 36:54 in time of possession and zero turnovers certainly helped as well.
As for Stanford, they bounced back well in a decent performance versus an overwhelmed Cal Poly team back on September 7. The Cardinal went a tepid 4-of-10 on third-down tries, though. I like Stanford to hang around for a while in this one but Syracuse should be able to pull away offensively in the second half.
