Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will meet in the Six Kings Slam final for the second year in a row. The exhibition tournament is in its second edition and it promises a huge payday. Last year, Sinner won the title, beating Alcaraz in the final and it will be the same two men who will vie for the top prize this year.

The event is held in Riyadh which is the capital of Saudi Arabia. This week, Alcaraz has a bye in the quarterfinals and faced Taylor Fritz in the semis. The World No. 1 won in straight sets to reach the final.

The match took 18 games to decide. The first set featured one break of serve, and it was Alcaraz who broke the American in the fifth game, consolidating that advantage throughout. Alcaraz broke Fritz twice in the second set and needed three match points to seal a 6-4, 6-2 victory in an hour and 10 minutes.

Sinner’s week started in the quarterfinals stage, where he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-2, 6-3 in an hour and 16 minutes. This was his first match since his retirement due to cramps in Shanghai. Sinner did not experience a recurrence of the issue as he motored to an easy win. 

In the semis, Sinner extended his excellent winning record over 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. The Italian lost only six games in a dominant 6-4, 6-2 victory in just an hour. Sinner hit 10 aces in the match and won 81% of first serve points (26/32).
