Jannik Sinner will face Jiri Lehecka in the final of the 2026 Miami Open final. The match is scheduled for Sunday, March 29. Here’s our Sinner vs Lehecka prediction. This preview will also include a Sinner vs Lehecka pick.

Sinner vs Lehecka Preview

Sinner defeated Alexander Zverev in the semifinals of the Miami Open in straight sets. The match took 22 games to decide and it was a lot tighter than their last meeting in Indian Wells. Sinner won the first set 6-3 with just one break of serve. The second stayed on serve for all 12 games and it was decided in a tiebreak. Sinner won it after Zverev made a mess with an overhead at a crucial point.

In the victory, Sinner hit 28 winners and 24 unforced errors. Sinner fired 15 aces without a single double fault. Sinner landed 74% of first serves in play and won 79% of first serve points (45/57). He won 50% of second serve points (10/20) and saved both break points he faced on serve. Sinner is bidding to become the eighth man to complete the Sunshine Double (winning Indian Wells and Miami in the same season).

Meeting Sinner in the final is Czech star Jiri Lehecka, who will compete in his first Masters 1000 final. He is looking to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Jakub Mensik, who won the title last year after upsetting Novak Djokovic. But Lehecka’s odds are even greater as he faces an in-form Sinner in the final.

Lehecka is coming off a straight-sets win over Arthur Fils in a very one-sided semifinal, with both sets finishing 6-2, 6-2 in Lehecka’s favor. The match lasted an hour and 17 minutes. Fils, who saved four match points in the last eight, did not have the energy to hang around for too long as he was overpowered from the back of the court.

Sinner vs Lehecka Head-To-Head

Sinner and Lehecka have met four times at all levels. Sinner leads the head-to-head 4-0 and won their most recent match at last year’s French Open 6-0, 6-1, 6-2.

Sinner vs Lehecka Prediction

This should be Sinner’s title to lose. The odds are stacked against Lehecka here. The Czech has clearly benefitted from a very kind draw, with the biggest names in this section falling before the second week. That said, I can’t take the credit away from Lehecka, and in sports, you can only beat the opponent in front of you. Still, I can’t look past Sinner. The numbers he’s put together in the last four weeks and in hard-court tournaments over the last two seasons are very impressive and he will take some stopping.

Nur Said's Pick: Jannik Sinner in straight sets
