I’m going with the sets spread. This has never been an easy assignment for Sinner. In fact, there has been little to choose between them in their rivalry which is finely poised at 2-2 and none of their matches have been settled in straight sets. Despite winning in straight sets in the last round, Sinner is demanding an improvement. And there are still levels that the World No. 1 can reach.

Rune has lost five sets already in the first week having played a pair of five-setters and one four-set match. It can be argued he has faced a significantly higher level of competition. But the benchmark right now is Sinner, so the odds are stacked against the Dane. Still, I think he’s good value to take a set from the defending champion.
