Her game yields far too many errors that will unlikely go unpunished against a great defender like Navarro. Still, I reckon she’s always an attractive pick at plus money on a fast hard court.

I fancied the upset in Navarro’s match against Alexandrova and it was a tight contest, which ultimately was decided by subtle moments. Samsonova is a bigger risk taker than Alexandrova, and can be handful to control if her serve is firing on all cylinders.
