Argentina had 51 percent of the possession and three shots on target. Julian Alvarezz scored in the 22nd minute while Lionel Messi scored in the 51st minute. The good news for Argentina is they are healthy heading into this game. Gonzalo Montiel, Cristian Romero, Lisandro Martinez and Nicolas Tagliafico are all expected to continue starting on the back four. Lautaro Martinez has scored four goals so far in the tournament but he’s expected to come off the bench here. 

Colombia Betting Preview

Colombia scored a goal in the 39th minute in the last game against Uruguay, and it wans’t the prettiest game but they were able to hold on for the victory. It was Jefferson Lema that scored in the 39th minute. Daniel Munoz picked up a red card at the end of the first half and they had to play with ten men for the entire second half. The defense stpped up though and didn’t concede a goal. Because of the red card, Munoz is going to be suspended for this game. Santiago Arias is expected to move into his spot on the lineup. In this game the Colombia defense is going to need to be good, much like they were in the last game. 

Argentina vs Colombia Prediction

Colombia’s defense was good in the last game, but this game is going to be different. Argentina has so many attacking pieces, and they are going to show them off here. Argentina is going to get the goal scoring going early, and they aren’t ever going to bounce back. I don’t think Argentina’s defense is going to give up a goal here, and Argentina will get the job done. Back Argentina on the money line.
