The Predators are cooked as they’re officially eliminated from playoff contention and one has to wonder if there’s any motivation for Nashville to finish out the string just given the disappointment that this season has been compared to all of the expectation that was set out for this team with all of the splashes made in free agency. I think Vegas adds to Nashville’s misery here as I just don’t see the Preds competing here and even on a back-to-back on the road, the Golden Knights are the better team here. Give me Vegas.
