Those who have followed me over the years know my handicapping in preseason is all about the quarterback position. The rest of the positions are toss-ups, and you have no idea who is going to play nd for how long. The one constant thing is decent quarterback play and the guys who can put points on the board.
The Bears didn’t look good in their last effort, and with backups getting even more reps here, I don’t have much confidence they’ll turn things around. I was high on the Titans entering the preseason because of their experience at the backup QB roles, and guys like Trubisky and Levis have held their own. The Titans have also shown up defensively through two games. No reason to step in front of them here. At home, I’ll lay the small number with the Titans.
