LA opened up their season with a home game versus the San Francisco 49ers back on September 10. In that one the Rams were only down by three points 10-7 at the break. Los Angeles couldn’t score from there however, and ended up losing 27-7. QB Matthew Stafford was 15-of-25 for 155 yards and a pick. Puka Nacua caught five balls for 74 yards as well.
In the Monday night game versus the New York Giants, Los Angeles scored a couple of touchdowns in the first half and went into the break up 14-3. The Rams bagged a couple more trips to the end zone from there and won 28-6. Stafford was 22-of-31 for 327 yards and all four touchdowns with one pick.
Denver Broncos Betting Preview
Over on the Broncos’ side, they played the Kansas City Chiefs in a road matchup for their opener. Denver gave up points in every quarter along the way to a 31-10 loss in the end. QB Bo Nix was 17-of-28 for 131 yards, one TD and one pick. Evan Engram led the receivers with four grabs for 43 yards and a score, while JK Dobbins had eight carries for 36 yards.
Matched up against the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend, the Broncos were in trouble with a 13-6 deficit heading into the fourth quarter. Denver managed to score a pair of unanswered touchdowns in that frame however, leading to a 20-13 comeback home win. Nix logged 288 yards, one TD and one interception on a 22-of-31 line and Jaylen Waddle had eight catches for 138 yards.

Rams vs Broncos Prediction
I’ll go with Denver. I’d like to see the Broncos get it moving a little earlier in the game, though. Denver ended up with 10 penalties for 53 yards and a sketchy 4-of-11 on third downs in their comeback win over the Jaguars last weekend. On defense the Broncos gave up just 268 yards and 5-of-12 on third-down tries, so it was a pretty nice effort overall from that unit. This being another home game will help Denver out a lot.
As for the Rams, they got back to business against the overmatched Giants, posting 481 yards, 8.0 yards per play and 5-of-9 on third downs in their Monday night win. LA gave up just 182 yards on the other side with 11 first downs and 3-of-14 on third downs. If there’s a gripe it’s the two turnovers but other than that there wasn’t much to complain about. If Denver’s offense can get it going early this matchup will be very interesting.
