The Jaguars opened up their 2024 season with a string of four losses. Those defeats came 20-17 versus the Miami Dolphins, 18-13 versus the Cleveland Browns, 47-10 versus the Buffalo Bills, and 24-20 versus the Houston Texans as Jacksonville hit the skids early.
The Jags were able to get into the win column for the first time versus the Colts last weekend. Jacksonville was outscored 24-17 in the final quarter but held on for the home victory 37-34. QB Trevor Lawrence finished with 371 yards, two TDs, and a pick, while Tank Bigsby had 101 rush yards and two scores.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs Chicago Bears Prediction
I’ll stay with Chicago. The Bears put together a nice all-around effort in their win last weekend. Chicago posted 424 yards on offense (296 passing) with 24 first downs and zero turnovers. Defensively the Bears gave up just 292 yards (172 passing) and had three takeaways.
As for the Jaguars, they’ll be relieved to finally get into the win column but it wasn’t exactly pretty. Jacksonville had two turnovers and went just 3-of-10 on third-down tries. The Jags may have some marginal success against the Bears defense but I don’t think they’ll keep pace if Chicago can get into the end zone a few times.
