Cleveland Browns Betting Preview
The Browns took a 33-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in their opener this year, then came back for an 18-13 win over the Jaguars. Cleveland would lose their next pair however, falling to the New York Giants 21-15 and the Raiders 20-16 to make it a 1-3 start.
Cleveland’s skid continued last weekend in a matchup versus the Washington Commanders. The Browns gave up 27 points between the second and third quarters in a 34-13 loss. QB Deshaun Watson managed 125 yards with a TD, and Amari Cooper caught four balls for 60 yards.
Philadelphia Eagles Betting Preview
Over on the Eagles’ side, they managed a 2-2 start through four games. The opener was a 34-29 win over the Packers, then came a 22-21 loss to the Falcons. Game three was a 15-12 victory versus the Saints before a 33-16 loss to Tampa Bay.
In the loss to the Buccaneers, the Eagles were down 24-7 by halftime and never got anywhere close after that. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had 158 yards with one score (and a rush TD), while Saquon Barkley had 84 yards on 10 carries. Dallas Goedert had seven catches for 62 yards.

Cleveland Browns vs Philadelphia Eagles Prediction
I’m staying with Philly. Probably not touching this one, though. The Eagles looked quite listless on both sides in their latest effort versus the Bucs. Philadelphia ended up with just 227 total yards (114 passing), 16 first downs, and a pair of lost fumbles. The defense gave up 445 yards (334 passing) and 29 first downs on the other side.
As for Cleveland, they posted just 212 total yards (108 passing), 13 first downs, and 1-of-13 on third-down tries in their latest loss to the Commanders. The Browns defense gave up 434 yards (215 rushing) and 20 first downs but did have a pair of takeaways. Neither team is trending in the right direction, but I like Philly to cover here thanks to the extra prep.
