In their last outing on September 30, the Lions took on the Seahawks. Detroit was up 21-7 by the break and powered out the win 42-29 in the end. QB Jared Goff was a perfect 18-of-18 for 292 yards and two scores. Jahmyr Gibbs added 14 carries for 78 yards and two TDs.

Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys Prediction
I’ll lean toward Dallas. The Cowboys certainly had some ups and downs in their win over Pittsburgh on Sunday evening. Dallas posted 445 offensive yards (336 passing) with 25 first downs but also had three turnovers. The team committed 11 penalties for 87 yards as well. On defense, the Cowboys gave up just 226 yards (134 passing), 17 first downs, and 3-of-12 on third-down tries in a nice overall effort that buoyed the team’s chances.
As for Detroit, they’re coming off a pretty solid win over the Seahawks but there’s plenty to clean up. The Lions gave up 516 yards (383 passing) and a whopping 38 first downs on defense. The 12 penalties for 101 yards didn’t help matters either. Detroit has been at 20 points or below in two of their four games so far. They’ll likely have to kick the offense into gear in order to escape with a road win here. So long as Dallas can minimize their mistakes, however, I don’t think the Lions will quite get to a cover.
