Washington Wizards vs San Antonio Spurs Player Prop Picks 11/13/24

The Washington Wizards will face off against the San Antonio Spurs on November 13, 2024, in what could be a crucial game for both teams. The Spurs are looking to build on a strong showing, with Victor Wembanyama continuing to impress. Wembanyama is coming off a dominant 34-point, 14-rebound, 6-assist performance in a win over the Sacramento Kings.

On the other hand, the Wizards (2-7) have struggled early in the season.  Jordan Poole is leading the team with 20 points per game, and the Wizards will need his scoring to challenge the Spurs. Their defense has been a major issue, allowing over 121 points per game, so improving on that end will be crucial if they are to compete in this matchup.

He’ll be matched up with Alex Sarr who is still trying to find his groove in the NBA. The second biggest player for the Wizards in the starting lineup will be Kyle Kuzma. I’m not sure who and how the Wizards will stop Wembanyama.

The odds makers continue to set his rebound line at 4.5 even though he’s been soaring over this number as of late. He gets a very favorable matchup against the Wizards who lack size in the paint. The Wizards are the worst rebounding team in the league giving up 60.1 rebounds to opposing teams a game. Until the oddsmakers adjust Champagnie’s rebound line I’ll continue to smash the over. 

Jordan Poole Over 20.5 Points

Jordan Poole has been averaging 20.0 points per game in the 2024-25 season over 9 games. He is shooting 42.3% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range. Additionally, Poole is contributing 4.2 assists and 2.3 steals per game, showcasing his offensive and defensive skills. His free throw shooting is excellent at 90.9%, further solidifying his role as the main offensive contributor for the Washington Wizards.

In a game the Spurs should dominate in I expect Jordan Poole to play a lot of minutes and play aggressively on offense to try to stay in this one. This team lacks the offensive firepower from their role players which has forced Jordan Poole to increase his offensive output.
