Washington Wizards Betting Preview
The Washington Wizards have been ice-cold lately as they’ve lost nine of their last 10 games overall and they are now on an eight-game losing streak after getting routed by the Nuggets in a 107-97 loss on Thursday. Kyshawn George led the team with 20 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, Tre Johnson added 19 points while Alex Sarr chipped in with 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Wizards shot just 38 percent from the field and 13 of 43 from the 3-point line which aren’t impressive numbers by any means, but the Wizards were able to stay in the contest all the way until late in the fourth quarter where they fell behind by 12 points.
Charlotte Hornets Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in pretty good form lately as they’ve won six of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after making light work of the Magic in a 124-97 road win on Thursday. Brandon Miller led the team with 20 points on eight of 15 shooting, Collin Sexton added 19 points on six of seven shooting off the bench while LaMelo Ball chipped in with 16 points, six rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Hornets shot 54 percent from the field and 17 of 36 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Magic from the very start and dominated the first half by 62-41 and they didn’t take their foot off the gas until the lead ballooned to 33 points.
Washington v Charlotte Free Prediction
The Wizards are missing Bilal Coulibaly, Cam Whitmore, Trae Young and AJ Johnson with Khris Middleton listed as questionable, while the Hornets have ruled out KJ Simpson with Brandon Miller upgraded to probable for this one. The Wizards have really been banged up lately so it comes as no surprise that they are probably the coldest team in the league, while the Hornets have been playing much better in recent games and they will be full of confidence after smashing the Magic in their last outing. The line seems a bit hefty, but the Hornets can blow teams out of the water if they get off to a quick start and I think that’s what we’re going to see in this one.
