The Utah Jazz and the Philadelphia 76ers duke it out at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Wednesday night.

The Utah Jazz have been in a nosedive for a while now as they’ve dropped 18 of their last 22 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a six-game losing streak after getting beaten by the Nuggets in a 128-125 loss on Monday. Keyonte George led the team with 36 points on 14 of 22 shooting, Kyle Filipowski added 19 points with eight rebounds and six assists while Ace Bailey chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Jazz shot 51 percent from the field and 15 of 39 from the 3-point line as they got off to a great start and poured in 67 points in the first half and worked their way back from a nine-point deficit to take the lead with 1:28 left in the fourth quarter, before they went ice-cold and allowed the Nuggets to score the final six points to slip away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in a slump as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting trampled by the Spurs in a 131-91 loss last night. Tyrese Maxey led the team with 21 points on eight of 19 shooting, Jabari Walker added 20 points on seven of 10 shooting off the bench while Cameron Payne chipped in with 10 points but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the 76ers shot just 35 percent from the field and 10 of 42 from the 3-point line as they got off to a nightmare start and allowed 46 points in the second quarter and things only got worse in the third quarter where they got outscored by 35-11 to trail by as many as 49 points at one stage.

The Jazz are still missing Lauri Markkanen, Jusuf Nurkic, Jaren Jackson Jr and Vince Williams Jr, while the 76ers have ruled out Joel Embiid and they are keeping an eye on Kelly Oubre Jr and VJ Edgecombe who are both listed as questionable. You couldn’t back either side with any confidence these days as the Jazz were ice-cold before they almost beat the Nuggets on Monday, while the 76ers have really been struggling with injuries and they are playing this one on zero days’ rest following last night’s horrendous loss to the Spurs. This is a tricky one, but if the Jazz play like they did in their last outing, I think they can hang around and keep this game to single digits in the end.
