The Sacramento Kings invade the Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. Here’s a Sacramento Kings vs. Brooklyn Nets Prediction. This article will include a Sacramento Kings vs. Brooklyn Nets Pick.

Sacramento Kings Betting Preview

The Sacramento Kings have been in a rut as they’ve lost five of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after getting beaten by the streaking Hawks in a 123-113 road defeat last night. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 22 points on nine of 18 shooting, Maxime Raynaud added 18 points with 10 rebounds, and Precious Achiuwa chipped in with 16 points on eight of 11 shooting.

As a team, the Kings shot 48 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to claw their way back from an early 16-point deficit to tie the scores early in the fourth quarter, only to see the Hawks go on a crucial 11-0 run to slip away at the end.

Brooklyn Nets Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been ice-cold as they’ve dropped 20 of their last 22 games overall and they will be hoping to snap a nine-game losing streak after getting routed by the Lakers in a 116-99 road defeat on Friday. Josh Minott led the team with 18 points on six of 12 shooting off the bench; Ziaire Williams and Nic Claxton each scored 16 points, while Ben Saraf chipped in with 10 points.

As a team, the Nets shot just 42 percent from the field and 10 of 39 from the 3-point line as they played well for most of the game and kept it close with the Lakers until the fourth quarter, where the Nets got outscored by 31-15 to spoil what was a close contest for the most part.

Why the Brooklyn Nets will win

  • The Kings have lost each of their last eight road games against Eastern Conference opponents following a loss.
  • The favorites have won 20 of the Nets’ last 21 games.
  • The Kings have failed to cover the spread in 10 of their last 11 games as road underdogs when playing with a rest disadvantage.
  • The Nets have covered the spread in each of their last five games as favorites against Western Conference opponents following a loss.

Why the Sacramento Kings will win

  • The Nets have lost each of their last 10 games against Pacific Division opponents.
  • The Kings have won three of their last five games as road underdogs following a loss.
  • The Nets have failed to cover the spread in each of their last six games against opponents who are on the second leg of a back-to-back.
  • The Kings have covered the spread in each of their last six games as road underdogs following a loss.

Total Points: Facts

  • Each of the Kings’ last five road games against Atlantic Division opponents has gone UNDER the total points line.
  • Each of the last four games between the Kings and Nets at Barclays Center has gone UNDER the total points line.

Sacramento Kings vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction

The Kings are still missing Domantas Sabonis, De’Andre Hunter, Drew Eubanks, Russell Westbrook and Keegan Murray, while the Nets have ruled out Michael Porter Jr., Egor Demin and Danny Wolf, with Josh Minott questionable. These teams had already met back on Sunday and it was the Kings who won by 126-122 thanks to Malik Monk, who scored 10 of his 32 points in the final five minutes of the game.

You still couldn’t back either side with any confidence, especially at this late stage of the season, but the Kings are still the more appealing team to me and I think they can pull off the minor upset in this spot.
