The Portland Trail Blazers have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to build some momentum after smashing the Nets in a 114-95 road win on Monday. Tounami Camara and Deni Avdija led the team with 18 points each, Scoot Henderson added 16 points while Donovan Clingan chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot 51 percent from the field and 11 of 26 from the 3-point line as they dominated from the very start with 65 points in the first half to take a 24-point lead into halftime which allowed them to cruise in the second half where they led by as many as 31 points before they pulled their starters early.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been ice-cold as they’ve lost 18 of their last 20 games overall and they will be hoping to put a stop to a 14-game losing streak after getting trounced by the Knicks in a 136-110 road defeat last night. Jarace Walker led the team with 16 points, five rebounds and five assists, Obi Toppin scored 15 points on six of eight shooting off the bench, Aaron Nesmith scored 14 points while TJ McConnell chipped in with 10 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Pacers shot 52 percent from the field and 17 of 38 from the 3-point line as they got off to a good enough start to stay within striking distance of the Knicks at halftime, but they couldn’t maintain that pace and got blown away in the second half to suffer yet another blowout defeat.

The Trail Blazers have ruled out Shaedon Sharpe with Robert Williams III and Vit Krejci both questionable, while the Pacers have ruled out Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard once again. The Trail Blazers haven’t been at their best for a while now, but they blew out some cobwebs in a big win over the Nets in their last outing and I think they follow that up with another easy win in this one against the ice-cold Pacers who can’t buy a win these days.
