As a team, the Magic shot 52 percent from the field and 10 of 29 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Nuggets early on and looked to be in trouble after falling behind by 17 points, but they made their adjustments and exploded for 79 points in the second half to snatch the game away thanks to Desmond Bane who drained the game-winning free throws with just 6.8 seconds left on the clock.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in pretty good form as they’ve won four of their past seven games and they will be eager to maintain that momentum after running past the Warriors in a 141-127 overtime win last night. Immanuel Quickley led the team with 27 points and seven assists, Brandon Ingram added 26 points with six assists while Scottie Barnes tallied a monster triple-double of 23 points with 25 rebounds and 10 assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 51 percent from the field and 13 of 42 from the 3-point line as they had to claw their way back from a 13-point deficit to force overtime where they outscored the Warriors by an impressive 19-5 to secure the dramatic win in front of their home fans.

The Magic are still missing Jalen Suggs, Goga Bitadze, Moritz Wagner and Franz Wagner, while the Raptors have ruled out Jakob Poeltl. The Magic haven’t been at their absolute best lately, but they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their comeback win over the Nuggets and are clear favorites in this one. The Raptors are coming in with some momentum after beating the Warriors last night, but it’s going to be tough to replicate that effort on zero days rest. This one could go either way, but I am leaning towards the Magic to get the win on the road.
