The San Antonio Spurs are in a rebuilding phase but have made substantial improvements since last season. His three-point shooting, however, has been a bit inconsistent, with him making 1.6 three-pointers per game at a 30.8% clip. Despite this, his overall efficiency has been strong, particularly from the free-throw line where he’s hitting 89.3% of his attempts. Gilgeous-Alexander’s scoring contributions are complemented by his solid all-around game, including 6.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game.

This should be another big game for Gilgeous-Alexander against this Spurs team. He’s coming off a game where he scored 36 points. He’ll have 2 days of rest coming into this game. This Thunder team will also be without Chet Holmgren for this game. Without Holmgren in the lineup that leaves a lot of points on the table for Gilgeous-Alexander to execute on. He’ll get 30 points in this game.

Chris Paul Over 3.5 Rebounds

As of the 2024-25 NBA season, Chris Paul has been averaging 3.7 rebounds per game across 14 games. His rebounding performance breaks down to 0.4 offensive rebounds and 3.3 defensive rebounds per game. His role as a primary ball handler and playmaker for the San Antonio Spurs does not demand heavy rebounding numbers, but he still contributes solidly in that area.

There’s a chance that Victor Wembyama won’t play in this game and even if he does he probably won’t be 100%. With the Spur’s main rebounder out I expect the ball to fall toward Chris Paul’s way more in this game. He has a favorable matchup going against the Thunder who allow 60.4 rebounds per game to opposing teams which is the most in the league. Chris Paul should be able to secure at least 4 rebounds in this matchup.

Jalen Williams Over 6.5 Rebounds

Jalen Williams is currently averaging 6.4 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season. This figure highlights his contributions both offensively and defensively, with a balanced effort across various games. He has consistently posted strong rebounding performances, with several games where he grabbed 7 or more rebounds, like in his matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans where he recorded 7 boards. His rebounding efforts are further complemented by his ability to contribute in other areas, including scoring and assists, making him a versatile player for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Spurs are known for being a good rebounding team but without Wemby in the lineup, they won’t have those same capabilities. Jalen Williams has been one of the Thunder’s better rebounders this season. Without Chet in the lineup, someone will need to step up for the Thunder to clean up on the glass and I expect that to be Williams.
