The New York Knicks invade the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. Here’s a New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers prediction. This article will include a New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers pick.

New York Knicks Betting Preview

The New York Knicks have been in pretty good form, as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the lowly Jazz in a 134-117 road win on Wednesday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 28 points and eight assists on seven of 16 shooting, Jordan Clarkson provided the spark off the bench with 27 points in just 26 minutes of action, OG Anunoby added 22 points, and Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 21 points with seven rebounds and seven assists.

As a team, the Knicks shot 52 percent from the field and 17 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and leaked 41 points in the first quarter to trail by as many as 18 points, but they didn’t panic and responded with 78 points in the second half to make it look like a complete mismatch in the end.

Indiana Pacers Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 15 of their last 17 games overall and they will be hoping to snap an ugly 11-game losing streak after getting scorched by the Suns in a 123-108 loss last night. Andrew Nembhard led the team with 23 points on six of seven shooting, Jarace Walker added 12 points, and Jay Huff and Ben Sheppard each scored 10 points.

As a team, the Pacers shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 40 from the 3-point line as they did a decent job of staying within striking distance of the Suns until the fourth quarter, where the Suns went on a 12-2 run to start to pull away. Kam Jones had a rough game as he shot just one of eight from the field for his three points in 26 minutes of action.

New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers Prediction

The Knicks are still missing Miles McBride with Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart as questionable, while the Pacers have ruled out Pascal Siakam, Aaron Nesmith, Quenton Jackson and TJ McConnell. The Knicks were always going to open as heavy favorites in this matchup, as they’ve already beaten the Pacers twice this season, but the first meeting was a one-point win for the Knicks, while the second win was a three-point win in overtime.

Unfortunately for the Pacers, things have gotten much worse for them since the last meeting and I don’t think they have enough firepower to hang with the Knicks, especially on the second night of a back-to-back set. The Knicks should have little trouble getting the win and cover this time round.
