The Milwaukee Bucks and the Charlotte Hornets collide at the Spectrum Center on Monday night.
Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in a rut as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after taking down the Bulls in a 112-103 road win on Saturday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 29 points and eight rebounds on 10 of 15 shooting, Ryan Rollins added 20 points with seven rebounds and five assists while Bobby Portis chipped in with 17 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 47 percent from the field and 13 of 36 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their defense as they held the Bulls to just 42 percent shooting and worked their way towards a 15-point lead before holding off a late rally from the Bulls.
Charlotte Hornets Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in pretty good form lately as they’ve won four of their past six games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after routing the Magic in a 120-105 road win on Friday. LaMelo Ball led the team with 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Miles Bridges added 16 points with 11 rebounds and five assists while Brandon Miller chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Hornets shot 47 percent from the field and 19 of 39 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 38 points in the first quarter to take a narrow lead into halftime, before they exploded for 38 points in the third quarter to lead by as many as 24 points at one stage.

The Bucks are still shorthanded with Gary Trent Jr and Taurean Prince out again, while the Hornets have ruled out Grant Williams, Kon Knueppel, Mason Plumlee and Ryan Kalkbrenner. The Bucks haven’t been anywhere near their best lately, but they have Antetokounmpo back in action and they will take some confidence from their win over the Bulls on Saturday. Surprisingly, the Hornets come into this meeting as the team in better form and they looked great in their dominant win over the Magic on Friday. I get why the Bucks are favorites in this one, but I like what I’ve seen from the Hornets lately and I think they can pull off the upset at home in this spot.
Peter Tran's Pick: Charlotte +3.5
