Memphis Grizzlies vs LA Lakers Player Prop Picks 11/13/24

We saw last season this Grizzles team struggled to get their role players involved while Ja was out and I can see that being the case again in this scenario. Jaren Jackson Jr. will need to take on more of a scoring load if the Grizzles want to stay in this game. 

Jaylen Wells Over 1.5 Three Pointers

Jaylen Wells has been showing solid shooting from beyond the arc in the 2024-25 season, averaging around 39.2% on his three-point attempts. His performance includes a 50% shooting rate from three in several games. He’s currently averaging 1.8 threes a game. On November 6th he made a career-high 5 threes against this same Lakers team.

I’m not sure if Jaylen Wells will be able to replicate the same type of performance he had the last time he played the Lakers but I’m confident he’ll hit at least 2. The Lakers have been susceptible to allowing threes so far this season. They’re allowing 13.1 threes per game to opposing teams which is on the higher end compared to the rest of the league. 

Anthony Davis Under 12.5 Rebounds

Anthony Davis has been averaging 10.4 rebounds per game in his 9 appearances so far. His total rebounds have been impressive, with averages of 2.1 offensive rebounds and 8.3 defensive rebounds per game​. For the average player, these are great rebounding stats but we’ve seen Anthony Davis go under his rebound total in his last four games.

This Lakers team has been getting rebound support from positions one through five which as a result has lowered Anthony Davis’s rebounding numbers. The odds makers continue to set his rebound line at 12.5 despite him struggling to get over that number. I’m looking to fade Anthony Davis on the glass until he shows me he can back to getting over this number of 12.5.
