As a team, the Grizzlies shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 43 from the 3-point line as they took the fight to the Clippers with 41 points in the first quarter to open up a 19-point lead, but they allowed the Clippers back into the contest and it cost them as they had the lead late in the fourth quarter before they got outscored by 6-2 in the final 1:30 to fall short.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been ice-cold lately as they were riding an ugly 10-game losing streak before they took down the Pistons in a stunning 107-105 comeback win on Saturday. Michael Porter Jr led the team with 30 points and 13 rebounds, Ziaire Williams added 23 points on five of eight shooting off the bench while Noah Clowney chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Nets shot 44 percent from the field and 10 of 30 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and scored just 19 points in the first quarter to trail by as many as 23 points, before they flipped the script and dominated the second half to pull off one of the best comeback wins of the season.

The Grizzlies are still missing Zach Edey, Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke, Taj Gibson and Santi Aldama with Scotty Pippen Jr listed as doubtful, while the Nets have ruled out Egor Demin and they have decided to rest Michael Porter Jr for this matchup. You really couldn’t back either side with any confidence these days as both teams have been piling on the losses, but while the Grizzlies are severely depleted, the Nets will be without their leading scorer who was crucial in their surprise win on Saturday. There are certainly better games on the slate to bet on, but this does look like a good spot for the Grizzlies to snag a win on the road.
