Indiana Pacers Betting Preview
The Indiana Pacers have sprung to life with three wins from their past five games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the Bulls in a 145-126 road win on Wednesday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 25 points and five assists, Ethan Thompson added 24 points with five assists on eight of 15 shooting while Jay Huff and Kobe Brown each scored 17 points. As a team, the Pacers shot 57 percent from the field and an efficient 20 of 48 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 83 points in the first half to take a 17-point lead into halftime and they kept their foot on the gas until the lead ballooned to 28 points at one stage.
Charlotte Hornets Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in stellar form as they’ve won nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the Suns in a 127-107 home win last night. Miles Bridges led the team with 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Kon Knueppel added 20 points, Coby White scored 19 points off the bench while LaMelo Ball tallied 15 points and 11 assists. As a team, the Hornets shot 52 percent from the field and 18 of 49 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 66 points in the first half to take the early lead after trailing by 10 points and they were ruthless once they got in front as they outpaced the Suns in every quarter to secure the dominant win in front of their home fans.
Indiana v Charlotte Free Prediction
The Pacers are still missing Andrew Nembhard, TJ McConnell, Aaron Nesmith, Jarace Walker and Ivica Zubac, while the Hornets have ruled out PJ Hall. These teams have clashed three times this season with the Pacers leading the series by 2-1, but the Hornets won the last meeting by 133-109 back on Feb 26 and I think we’re about to see a similar outcome here. The Pacers have played some decent basketball lately, but I don’t think they have the firepower to hang with the streaking Hornets right now.
