Golden State Warriors Betting Preview
The Golden State Warriors have been in decent shape as they were enjoying a three-game win streak before they got stopped in their tracks by the Raptors in a 141-127 overtime road defeat last night. Stephen Curry led the team with 39 points on 12 of 30 shooting, Draymon Green tallied 21 points with seven assists while Jimmy Butler III chipped in with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 45 percent from the field and 16 of 44 from the 3-point line as they poured in 36 points in the third quarter to take a 13-point lead, but they couldn’t hold off the Raptors and eventually got stung in the overtime period where they got outscored by 19-5.
Brooklyn Nets Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after blowing past the Timberwolves in an impressive 123-107 road win on Saturday. Cam Thomas led the team with 30 points on nine of 15 shooting off the bench, Michael Porter Jr added 27 points with 10 rebounds and four assists on nine of 16 shooting while Nic Claxton chipped in with 14 points on six of nine shooting. As a team, the Nets shot a healthy 55 percent from the field and 11 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a great start to match it with the Timberwolves in a tightly contested first half, before they exploded for 36 points in the third quarter to pull ahead by 21 points at one stage.
Golden State v Brooklyn Free Prediction
The Warriors are still missing Seth Curry, Al Horford and De’Anthony Melton, while the Nets have ruled out Haywood Highsmith. The Warriors are coming into this game with a bit of momentum, but it is actually the Nets who have been in better form lately as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall including their last three in a row. This is the first meeting between these teams this season, but while the Warriors are correctly the favorites on the road, I still prefer the Nets who looked fantastic in their big win over the Timberwolves on Saturday. This one could go either way, but I am leaning towards the Nets to get the win at home in this spot behind big games from Porter Jr and Thomas.
