Golden State Warriors Betting Preview
The Golden State Warriors have been in a major slump as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall, but they will be feeling a little better after they snapped a five-game losing streak with a 125-117 road win over the Wizards on Monday. Kristaps Porzingis led the team with 30 points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks off the bench, De’Anthony Melton added 27 points on 12 of 17 shooting while Gui Santos chipped in with 18 points and five assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 51 percent from the field and nine of 32 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to take a 17-point lead which proved to be crucial as the Wizards rallied back to within five points with 4:29 left in the fourth quarter before the Warriors held on for the narrow win.
Boston Celtics Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics have been in fine form as they’ve won 11 of their last 15 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after beating the Suns in a 120-112 win on Monday. Jaylen Brown led the team with 41 points, seven rebounds and six assists on 10 of 20 shooting, Jayson Tatum and Derrick White each scored 21 points while Payton Pritchard chipped in with 19 points and six assists off the bench. As a team, the Celtics shot 49 percent from the field and 17 of 40 from the 3-point line as they poured in 65 points in the first half to take a narrow lead into halftime, but this was a battle right to the end as the Celtics never led by more than 10 points in this one.
Golden State v Boston Free Prediction
The Warriors are still missing Seth Curry, Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody with Quinten Post listed as questionable, while the Celtics have ruled out Nikola Vucevic once again. The Warriors have been hit hard by injuries lately but they were able to get some relief with a solid win over the lowly Wizards in their last outing. The Warriors last met the Celtics on Feb 19 and it was the Celtics who rolled to a 121-110 road win. It’s hard to picture anything but another comfortable win for the Celtics in this spot, so I will lay the points with the home team in this one.
