As a team, the Kings shot 46 percent from the field and 11 of 33 from the 3-point line. But the bigger issue was on the defensive side as the Kings allowed 75 points in the first half and another 40 points in the third quarter to trail by as many as 24 points in this one.

I think they found an ideal opponent in the Kings, who have struggled to stay competitive despite big games from DeRozan and Westbrook. It’s a shame that there’s an injury cloud hanging over Davis, but I still think the banged up Mavericks get the job done in this one.
