The Dallas Mavericks and the Sacramento Kings collide at the Golden 1 Center on Saturday night.

Dallas Mavericks Betting Preview 

The Dallas Mavericks have been in a rut as they’ve lost four of their last six games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Warriors in a 126-116 road defeat on Thursday. Cooper Flagg led the team with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists, Brandon Williams added 26 points on nine of 12 shooting off the bench while PJ Washington and Naji Marshall each scored 14 points. As a team, the Mavericks shot 55 percent from the field but just four of 14 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sloppy start and allowed 40 points in the first quarter to fall behind by double digits right away and they couldn’t make inroads until the third quarter where they trailed by 17 points. Anthony Davis finished the game with just three points and played only 11 minutes before he left with an adductor strain. 

Sacramento Kings Betting Preview 

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 10 of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Pistons in a 136-127 loss on Tuesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 37 points and eight assists on 12 of 18 shooting, Russell Westbrook tallied 27 points with six rebounds and four assists while Precious Achiuwa chipped in with 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Kings shot 46 percent from the field and 11 of 33 from the 3-point line, but the bigger issue was on the defensive side as the Kings allowed 75 points in the first half and another 40 points in the third quarter to trail by as many as 24 points in this one.

The Mavericks are still missing some key players with Kyrie Irving, Dante Exum and Dereck Lively with Anthony Davis and Brandon Williams both listed as questionable, while the Kings have ruled out Zach LaVine, Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray with Devin Carter listed as questionable. The Mavericks could really do with a win to get them back on track following a tough stretch and I think they found an ideal opponent in the Kings who have struggled to stay competitive despite big games from DeRozan and Westbrook. It’s a shame that there’s an injury cloud hanging over Davis, but I still think the banged up Mavericks get the job done in this one.
