LaMelo Ball led the team with 34 points, 13 assists and four steals, Miles Bridges and Mark Williams scored 16 points each while Cody Martin chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Hornets shot just 40 percent from the field and eight of 43 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Wizards in a tight contest, until the fourth quarter where they allowed 36 points to suffer one of their worst defeats of the season as the Wizards had only had three wins before this meeting. The Hornets will meet the Rockets, Wizards, and Thunder after this game.
