They will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat after getting beaten by the lowly Wizards in a 116-111 road loss on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 29 points, seven rebounds and eight assists while Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray and Zach LaVine scored 18 points each. As a team, the Kings shot just 42 percent from the field and 10 of 39 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Wizards in a tight contest until the third quarter where they allowed 36 points to fall behind by 14 points. You kept waiting for the Kings to go on a run and steal the game at the end, but they misfired the whole game and didn't heat up until it was too late. 

Meanwhile, the Charlotte Hornets have been in a slump of their own as they've lost eight of their last 10 games overall. They will be eager to bounce back after getting routed by the Pacers in a 119-105 road defeat on Wednesday. Miles Bridges led the team with 18 points and five assists on seven of 10 shooting, Mark Williams and Seth Curry each scored 16 points while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Hornets shot 52 percent from the field and 10 of 24 from the 3-point line which are solid numbers, but they kept shooting themselves in the foot with a total of 18 turnovers. The Hornets stayed within striking distance in the first half, but they allowed 34 points in the third quarter and never had a chance after falling behind by 18 points.
