The Toronto Raptors invade the Capital One Arena to take on the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Here’s a Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Prediction. This article will include a Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Pick.
Toronto Raptors Betting Preview
The Toronto Raptors have been in a slump as they've lost five of their last eight games overall. They will be hoping to end a four-game losing streak after getting smashed by the Spurs in a 123-89 home defeat last night. Scottie Barnes led the team with 22 points, six rebounds, and six assists on eight of 11 shooting, RJ Barrett added 18 points while Jamal Shead chipped in with 17 points and six assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 38 percent from the field and 10 of 39 from the 3-point line as they got off to a nightmare start and could never recover after getting outscored by 36-16 in the first quarter. In fact, the Raptors trailed in this one by as many as 38 points at one stage and they committed 22 turnovers. The Raptors will meet the Nets after this game.
Washington Wizards Betting Preview
Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in a slump as they've lost six of their last eight games overall. They will be eager to arrest a four-game losing streak after getting routed by the Knicks in a 122-103 road defeat on Saturday. Jordan Poole led the team with 25 points on nine of 17 shooting, Marcus Smart added 17 points off the bench while Kyshawn George chipped in with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists. As a team, the Wizards shot 44 percent from the field and 11 of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to make their shots early. They scored just 41 points in the first half to trail by as many as 33 points, before they went on a bit of a rally late in the game to keep the final margin somewhat respectable. The Wizards will face the 76ers following this one.

- The Wizards have covered the spread in each of their last six games at Capital One Arena when playing with a rest advantage.

Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards Prediction
The Raptors are still missing a bunch of players including Chris Boucher, Brandon Ingram, and Gradey Dick, but they could have Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley back in the lineup. Meanwhile, the Wizards are still missing Corey Kispert and Malcolm Brogdon. Be sure to check the lineups before tip-off as the Raptors are routinely resting players at this stage of the season. With that being said, the Raptors are playing their second game of a back-to-back set. I don't know who they will decide to rest, so I am slightly more comfortable going with the Wizards to pull off the upset in this spot.
