UFC Fight Night 245 takes place on Saturday from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, and it should be a money-making card. Let’s take a look at free play on each of the main card fights to make your Saturday a winning one. 

Anthony Hernandez vs Michel Pereira

Anthony Hernandez and Michel Pereira face off for the main event in a middleweight bout that is no doubt going to have plenty of fireworks. Pereira is fighting really well heading into this one he has won eight fights in a row. In each of his last two fights he has won the fight by submission. Pereira’s last fight came against Ihor Potieria and it was only 58 seconds into it he won by a guillotine choke. 

For Anthony Hernandez, he has also been impressive heading into this fight, and he has won five fights in a row. In his last fight against Roman Kopylov on February 17th it was midway through the second round that he was able to finish the fight by knockout. It’s a bit shocking that Pereira is the underdog here because I believe he’s the better fighter. Pereira is going to get Hernandez in a bad position and he’s going to come out on top here. Rob Font and Kyler Phillips face off in a bantamweight battle and this game should be quite the fight. Font has a ton of power and can finish the fight at anytime, and someone that Phillips shouldn’t take lightly. The problem for font though is that Kyler Phillips is an elite fighter that will also throw kicks that are going to be a problem here. Font isn’t going to be able to keep up with the pace here. Phillips is going to get the job by decision. 

Charles Johnson vs Su Mudaerji 

Johnson-225 / Mudaerji +185 // Total Rounds: 2.5

Charles Johnson and Su Mudaerji face off in a flyweight battle and this is going to be one of the most exciting fights on the card. Mudaerji is going to keep this fight on the feet and with the fight on the feet he has the big advantage. Mudaerji is the better kickboxer and with the fight on the feet he’s going to find success here. Mudaerji is going to pull the big upset here, and get the job done. Darren Elkins vs Daniel Pineda 

Elkins -108 / Pineda -112 // Total Rounds: 2.5

One thing is guaranteed in this fight, there is going to be a whole lot of blood. Elkins is a big bleeder but that isn’t going to have much of an impact in this game. Elkins is going to look for the finish early, and Pineda is going to struggle with the pressure. Elkins won the last game with a rear naked choke and he’s going to dominate again here.
