Tampa Bay Rays vs. Athletics Prediction
I’m backing the Athletics here. I get the case to be made for the Rays, but Ryan Pepiot at times this season has had an issue with pitch control and giving up home runs and that could be problematic too with how hitter friendly the ballpark in Sacramento has been. The Athletics are still a solid lineup that’s started to find some offense in recent weeks, and I think they get to Pepiot and do enough to start the series with a win here. Give me the Athletics to draw first blood in this series.
