I expect May to last long in this game and rack up the strikeouts.

Sandy Alcántara’s return from Tommy John surgery has been rocky, marked by inconsistency and elevated results that deviate sharply from his pre-injury form. Over 12 starts totaling 57 innings of work, he carries a 2–7 record and a 7.89 ERA, which is the highest among qualifying MLB starters, alongside a WHIP of 1.58 and just 44 strikeouts. It might be tough to back Alcantara right now, but he’s coming off his best start, where he only allowed 2 runs. I think he can carry that momentum into this game, going against one of the worst lineups in the league. I won’t back Alcantara much this season, but I truly think this is a good spot for him. 

Chris Sale Over 7.5 Strikeouts

Atlanta Braves vs Milwaukee Brewers 7:40 PM EST

Chris Sale has made 13 starts, posting a 3–4 record with a strong 2.93 ERA, 73.2 innings pitched, 96 strikeouts (6th in MLB), and a 1.24 WHIP. His game logs include multiple double-digit strikeout games, such as a 10‑K outing on June 4th vs. Arizona and an 8-inning, 8‑strikeout performance vs. Philadelphia on May 29th. He’s logged 8+ strikeouts in 5 of his last 6 games. Chris Sale is playing out of his mind right now, and I have no problem backing him in this one. This Brewers offense is nothing to write home about and should result in another solid start from Sale.
