Ben Brown Under 9.5 K’s
Chicago Cubs vs Detroit Tigers 7:10 PM EST
Chicago Cubs right-hander Ben Brown has made 12 appearances (10 starts) this season, compiling a 3–3 record with a 5.72 ERA over 56.2 innings pitched. He has recorded 71 strikeouts against 19 walks, resulting in a WHIP of 1.46. In his most recent outing on May 31 against the Cincinnati Reds, Brown delivered an outstanding performance, pitching six shutout innings with one hit, one walk, and nine strikeouts. After a fantastic outing like that, I want to fade Brown. We’ve seen him struggle to string together good outings this season. It’s also a brutal matchup going against the Tigers, who have been so consistent at the plate.

Michael Soroka Under 2.5 Earned Runs
Texas Rangers vs Washington Nationals 6:45 PM EST
Michael Soroka has made six starts for the Washington Nationals in the 2025 MLB season. He holds a 2–3 win-loss record with a 5.81 ERA over 31.0 innings pitched. Soroka has recorded 28 strikeouts, issued six walks, and maintained a WHIP of 1.23. Soroka has allowed over 2 runs in all but one of his starts this season, but this is a spot I want to back him. The Rangers have been incompetent at the plate when on the road. It looks like we’ll get some + money with this play as well. Let’s buy low on Soroka to have a solid outing against an under-performing Rangers team.Â
Spencer Schwellenbach Over 5.5 K’sÂ
Atlanta Braves vs San Francisco Giants 10:15 PM EST
Atlanta Braves right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach has continued to impress in his sophomore MLB season. Through 12 starts, he holds a 4–4 record with a 3.13 ERA over 74.2 innings pitched, accumulating 71 strikeouts and maintaining a WHIP of 1.03. Schwellenbach’s recent performances have been particularly noteworthy. In a dominant outing on May 31 against the Boston Red Sox, he struck out 11 batters over 6 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just five hits and no walks. This marked his second consecutive game with 11 strikeouts. With this game being played at Oracle Park, he should go long and log a ton of K’s. I’m surprised oddsmakers didn’t set his strikeout line higher.Â
