Fried’s performance places him among the league’s elite, ranking fifth in ERA and tenth in WHIP across the MLB. He’s coming off his worst start of the season, where he allowed 6 earned runs to the Dodgers. I’m not pressing the panic button after that start due to how stacked that Dodgers lineup is. If anything, it makes me love Fried even more in this spot. The Guardians rank in the bottom 10 in almost every major offensive category in the league. Expect Fried to go deep in this one.
