The Line: Betting Odds: Arizona +1.5 — Over/Under: +9.5
Manny Machado Over 1.5 Total Bases
San Diego Padres vs Arizona D-Backs 9:40 PM EST
Manny Machado is enjoying another power-filled year in 2025, playing in 138 games and hitting .258/.319/.462 with 30 home runs and 91 RBIs, driving offensive production throughout San Diego’s lineup. Advanced metrics reinforce why these results are no fluke. Machado is posting a 93 mph average exit velocity, a 53.2% hard-hit rate, and a 13.2% barrel rate. His actual wOBA (.368) and expected xwOBA (.390). Machado has been one of the Padres’ more consistent batters as of late, logging 2+ bases in 7 of his last 10 games. He’ll be up against this D-backs pitching staff which has been Arizona’s downfall this season. This should be a good spot for Machado to have another solid game.Â

Jaren Duran Over 1.5 Total Bases
Kansas City Royals vs Boston Red Sox 7:10 PM EST
Jarren Duran appeared in 111 games in 2025, tallying 498 plate appearances and hitting .262/.341/.445 for a .786 OPS, anchored by 12 home runs, 60 RBIs, and 45 runs scored. He’s averaging an exit velocity of around 92.9 mph, with a 47.9% hard-hit rate and a 10.9% barrel rate, which are all very solid. He’s been specifically hot as of late, logging 2+ bases in 8 of his last 10 starts. Even though Michael Wacha has been solid for the Royals as of late, I do expect him to struggle in this game, going against this Red Sox lineup that’s on fire right now.Â
Brent Rooker Over 1.5 Total Bases
Athletics vs Washington Nationals 6:45 PM EST
Brent Rooker is delivering a powerful campaign for the A’s in 2025, appearing in 114 games and logging 448 at-bats, slashing .269/.343/.504 for an .847 OPS. He belted 23 home runs, drove in 63 RBIs, scored 69 runs, and added 24 doubles, 3 triples, and 4 stolen bases, firmly establishing himself among the league’s most productive designated hitters and right-handed bats. He’s coming off a monstrous game on Tuesday, logging 6 total bases. This Nationals pitching staff is the worst in the league, and with Cavalli making his first start of the season, I don’t see that changing. This should be a spot where the Athletics bats have success from start to finish, and Rooker will be a pivotal part in that.
