The Line: Betting Odds: Los Angeles 0.0001 — Over/Under: +8.5
Mookie Betts Over 1.5 Total Bases
Los Angeles Dodgers vs Minnesota Twins 10:10 PM EST
Mookie Betts has had a challenging year offensively, batting .241 with 11 home runs, 45 RBIs, and a .689 OPS over 92 games and 361 at-bats—placing him tied for 125th in average and 139th in OPS across MLB. His performance shows he’s less effective at the plate than in previous seasons, but I can’t help but take him in this spot. He’ll be going up against Chris Paddack for the Twins, who has given up 3+ runs in 4 of his last 5 starts and has struggled with giving up hard contact this season. I expect to see flashes of old Mookie in certain spots this season, and this has the potential to be one of those games.

Ronald Acuna Over 1.5 Total Bases
Atlanta Braves vs San Francisco Giants 7:15 PM EST
Ronald Acuña Jr. has returned from offseason knee surgery and immediately reignited his superstar form. In 49 games and 174 at-bats, he’s slashed .328/.445/.615, delivering a 1.060 OPS, all while contributing 13 home runs, 24 RBIs, 46 runs scored, and 4 stolen bases. He’s barreling 18.6% of his batted balls, well above league norms, with an average exit velocity of 92.3 mph and a 51.7% hard-hit rate. I like him to carry that momentum into this one, going against the Giants. This Giants pitching staff has struggled away from San Francisco. It looks like Verlander will get the start for the Giants, and he comes into this one with an ERA over 5 on the road this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if Acuna hits this on his first at-bat.
Bryce Harper Over 1.5 Total Bases
Boston Red Sox vs Philadelphia Phillies 6:45 PM EST
Bryce Harper has delivered a strong campaign in his 14th MLB season, appearing in 72 games and recording 269 at‑bats, in which he’s slashed .271/.379/.498 (.877 OPS), ranking 16th in the majors. He’s tallied 13 home runs, 41 RBIs, and 43 runs scored, alongside 44 walks and only 65 strikeouts. He’s been one of the hotter batters in the league as of late. In his last 4 games, we’ve seen him log a combined 20 total bases. It looks to be great hitting conditions in Philadelphia on Wednesday, and I also like his matchup going against Giolito, who came down to earth in his last start.Â
