Jose Altuve Over 1.5 Total Bases
Houston Astros vs Arizona D-Backs 3:40 PM EST
José Altuve has appeared in 96 games, collecting 370 at-bats and slashing .278/.338/.465 (.803 OPS), with 17 home runs, 53 RBIs, and 54 runs scored, ranking him roughly tied for 38th in average and 39th in homers across MLB. We saw Altuve log 2+ bases in 3 straight games and in 7 of his last 10 games. He’s been the Astros’ most consistent hitter as of late, and I’m looking to ride the hot hand. The D-Backs will be going with Brandon Pfaadt, who has struggled this season. It’ll only get easier for Altuve the longer the game goes, with how bad this D-Backs bullpen has been. I expect Altuve to continue this recent success he’s been having.

Maikel Garcia Over 1.5 Total Bases
Kansas City Royals vs Chicago Cubs 2:20 PM EST
Maikel García has been a stellar all-around performer this year, playing in 99 games and slashing .293/.347/.446 (.793 OPS) over 368 at-bats with 108 hits, 26 doubles, 3 triples, and 8 home runs, while driving in 41 runs and scoring 43 with 18 steals, ranking him 3rd on the Royals in batting average and OPS. Garcia is a guy that gets overlooked in this lineup, but he’s been one of the brighter parts in a struggling Kansas City offense. We saw him log 3 total bases in game 1 of this series, and I think we see a similar outcome in this one. He’ll be up against Colin Rea, who has shown inconsistencies this season. It also looks to be great hitting conditions in Wrigley on Wednesday as well.
Jonathan Aranda Over 1.5 Total Bases
Chicago White Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays 7:35 PM EST
Jonathan Aranda has taken a significant step forward in his 2025 breakout season with the Tampa Bay Rays. Over 94 games and 326 at-bats, he’s slashing an impressive .316/.394/.479 line, ranking 5th in MLB batting average and 17th in OPS (.872). He’s delivered 11 home runs, 50 RBIs, and driven in 48 runs. He’s averaging 92.9 mph exit velocity, with a 55.5% hard-hit rate and 12.2% barrel rate, which is solid. Aranda has had a slow start in this series, only logging 1 total base in each of the first two games, but with a guy of his talent, I expect him to have a nice bounce-back game. He’ll be up against Cannon and this shaky White Sox bullpen that he’s had two days of seeing. I like Aranda to have a big game.
