Minnesota Twins vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction
Prielipp has just 14 career innings under his belt and while he’s shown promise, I need a larger sample size to get behind. The Guardians are the better offensive side and Messick has been terrific through 41.1 innings. In those frames, Messick has a 2.40 ERA and 0.92 WHIP along with 44 strikeouts. In 23.2 home innings, Messick has a 2.66 ERA and a .163 allowed batting average. Behind the more proven pitcher and the sharper offense, I’ll play the reasonable price with the Guardians at home.
