The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers will meet Monday afternoon in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Let’s take a look at this matchup from a betting perspective.

Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Dodgers enter Sunday’s contest with a 100-62 overall record (1st in the National League West) and a robust 49-32 mark on the road. Los Angeles arrives at this contest in good form, winning two of the team’s last three postseason games, including a 4-1 win over the Atlanta Braves four days ago.

The Dodgers will turn to right hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto in this game. In 28 starts made in 2026, Yamamoto compiled a 14-9 win-loss record, a 2.53 ERA, a 0.87 WHIP and 182 strikeouts in 185 innings pitched. Yamamoto performed at a high level in his most recent outing, allowing one earned run while scattering four hits and one walk across seven innings pitched in the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves earlier this month. It should also be noted that Yamamoto struck out a whopping 10 Atlanta batters in the game.

Shifting our focus to the Los Angeles offense, the Dodgers lineup features Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman. Ohtani has tallied 30 home runs, 80 RBIs, a .277 batting average and a robust .902 OPS which ranks fifth in Major League Baseball. Freeman has compiled a .292 batting average, 67 RBIs, and an .806 OPS.

Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview

The Milwaukee Brewers enter Tuesday’s contest with a 103–59 overall record (1st in the National League Central) and a rather impressive 55-26 mark on the road. The Brewers offense has been elite this season. Milwaukee has compiled 832 runs scored (2nd in MLB), 279 doubles (5th in MLB), 154 home runs and a .258 team batting average which ranks first in Major League Baseball.

The Brewers have played exceptional baseball recently, winning four of the team’s last five postseason games.

The Milwaukee Brewers will start right hander Logan Henderson in this contest. In 18 starts made this season, Henderson compiled an impressive 11-3 win-loss record, a 2.47 ERA, a stellar 0.84 WHIP and 110 strikeouts in 98.1 innings pitched. Henderson has pitched exceptionally well recently, allowing one earned run or less in three of his last four starts made in 2026.

The Brewers lineup features catcher William Contreras and second baseman Brice Turang. Contreras enters this contest with a .270 batting average, 18 home runs, 27 doubles, 59 walks, 94 RBIs and a .758 OPS. Brice Turang has amassed a .268 batting average, 21 home runs, 100 RBIs (9th in MLB) and an .816 OPS.

Why the Los Angeles Dodgers will win.

• Starting pitching. In 28 starts made in 2026, Yoshinobu Yamamoto compiled a 14-9 win-loss record, a 2.53 ERA, a 0.87 WHIP and 182 strikeouts in 185 innings pitched.

• Ability to win on the road. The Dodgers have played quality baseball on the road in 2026, compiling a 49-32 mark away from home.

• Current form. The Los Angeles Dodgers have won two of the team’s last three games.

Why the Milwaukee Brewers will win.

• Home field advantage. The Milwaukee Brewers have amassed a 55-26 win-loss record at American Family Field this season.

• Starting pitching. In 18 starts made this season, Logan Henderson compiled an 11-3 record, a 2.47 ERA, a 0.84 WHIP and 110 strikeouts in 98.1 innings pitched.

• Recent form. The Milwaukee Brewers have won four of the team’s last five games.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Milwaukee Brewers Prediction

In my opinion, the way to go in this matchup is the total rather than a side. Why? Los Angeles starting pitcher has pitched at a high level in 2026, amassing a 14-9 win-loss record, a 2.53 ERA, a 0.87 WHIP and 182 strikeouts in 185 innings pitched. Similarly, Milwaukee hurler Logan Henderson has pitched exceptionally well recently, allowing one earned run or less in three of his last four starts made in 2026. With that said, I think quality pitching from both teams will limit overall offensive production in this one. I am backing under 7.5 runs in this game.
