Detroit Tigers Betting Preview
Detroit played the Kansas City Royals in their last set. The Tigers managed a sweep with three straight wins in that series. After a 7-1 loss to the O’s in their opener, in game two the Tigers posted two runs in the 10th inning during a 6-4 win. Starting pitcher Reese Olson logged 3.0 innings with one earned run.
In the starter slot for Sunday, the Tigers didn’t immediately announce a name.
Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview
Over on the Orioles’ side, they played the San Francisco Giants in their last series. Baltimore lost the first pair before a 5-3 Thursday win. On Saturday the O’s tied the game in the bottom of the ninth but lost in extras. Baltimore got 5.0 innings and two earned runs from starter Cade Povich.
Albert Suarez will start for the Orioles on Sunday. This year Suarez is 8-6 with a 3.60 ERA in 30 games (22 starts). Suarez is 11-14 with a 4.04 ERA in 70 career games (34 starts). The Orioles will meet the Yankees after this series.

Detroit Tigers vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction
I’m going to try the Tigers. At least some of that is due to Suarez’s recent struggles; he’s 1-2 in the last three starts. In the victory, Suarez put up 6.0 innings with one earned versus Boston. In the two losses, he notched 10 combined earned runs in 7.2 frames.
On Saturday the Tigers got some big performances on offense including Riley Greene (three hits; three runs; RBI) and Dillon Dingler (two hits; two RBI). There were some hiccups pitching-wise but Detroit got out of there with a win. I think they can keep it going Sunday.
