San Diego Padres vs Miami Marlins Prediction
I’ll stay with the Padres, but the line’s probably too thick to mess with. Cease has been pitching well lately. In his last three appearances Cease is 2-0 with just one earned on four hits and six walks in 15.2 innings total. As for Meyer, he’s got 10 earned in his last 9.0 innings during a pair of losses.
On Saturday the Padres really got it going on offense late in the game, notching five runs between the seventh and eighth innings. San Diego used five arms out of the pen and didn’t record a particularly good pitching outing. That said I think they’re in line for another win in the finale if all goes well.
