New York Mets vs New York Yankees Prediction
I’ll stay with the Yankees. Probably not touching it, though. Cole has certainly had his ups and downs this year, but he’s doing better over his last pair. In those two Cole is 2-0 with just two earned in 12.0 innings. As for Manaea, he’s given up eight earned over his last 12.0 innings of work.
On Tuesday the Yankees got very little at the plate outside of a solo homer from Gleyber Torres and an RBI from Alex Verdugo. The pen was pretty good (outside of Michael Tonkin’s struggles), but couldn’t overcome the offensive issues. The Yankees bats need a big turnaround Wednesday to even things up.
