Ohio vs. Akron Prediction

This is a lot of points for a weekday game, but it’s also two teams heading in different directions. Ohio is looking more and more like one of the teams to beat in the MAC, while Akron hasn’t won a game in two months and is getting drilled defensively. Akron is 118th in total defense and 128th in scoring defense. The Zips offense is 103rd in total offense and 127th in scoring offense.

Akron is one of the worst teams in college football, and a 3-5 ATS record doesn’t make it any more attractive. Again, I’m not thrilled to lay two touchdowns on the road on a random Tuesday, but the alternative is horrible. I want nothing to do with Akron. Give me Ohio in a comfortable road victory.
